Jelena Jankovic lost to Tamarine Tanasugarn 6-3 6-2. This loss opens up an all Williams-Final.
Jelena Jankovic, made with her exit, the worst Wimbledon in recent history. It was quite a while ago that the top 3 seeds didn’t at least reach the QF at Wimbledon.
Maybe she should have made more thoughts about her game, than her injuries. Lately she’s getting 3 different injuries a match. She needs to play less, if she wants to play a few more years, if she doesn’t, I see her getting many chronic injuries and forcing her to retire early.
Anyway, Tamarine Tanasugarn is quite a revelation on grass this year, before entering Wimbledon, she had already established a 11-2 record on grass so far. Right now, she has won 11 consecutive matches on grass. Bringing the total to a 15-2 ytd grass record.
Next she will face Venus Williams.

I’ve counted, by the end of 2011, Dubai will have 100 new skyscrapers. All with a minium height of 180 meters. Even more impressing, they are planning a tower of 1600 meters (on the left).
Thought that was big? I’ve heard a buzz of a 2000 meters tower.
By 2011 Dubai will have a skyline with an average skyscraper height of 286 meters, and will have built 41225 meters towards the sky!
More Information soon =)

When you thought the previous post was already cool, think again. Dubai already presented it’s even newer project. It will be called 55° Time Dubai. This tower will yet again, be the first ever fully rotating building to be made.
It’s stated that the building can rotate 360° in just 7 days ! That means it’ll change 2° per hour, or 51° per day.
The construction will start the 8th of August, 2008. If more details come out, I’ll update via a new post. Want to know more about the project, click here.

· Filed under Architecture ·Tagged David Fischer, Dubai, Dynamic, Tower
It seems that Dubai, wants to be the first to break any record or set new standard to luxury and the way we’ll live in the future. They hired David Fischer to make up something new, something daring.
He created something wild, a tower that can reshape itself at any given time, changing colors and can provide it’s own energy.
You can by voice instructions tell your condo to move to the left or the right, giving you a different view in your room everyday. Current languages that will be supported are English, Arabic, Italian. And even more special, you can park your car inside your own condo, a special car elevator will be provided.
Many people must think, how? How can this building rotate? How is it built? Well, it’s quite simple, the building has a solid round core, and the pieces of the condo’s are prefab, they will be connected to the core and lifted into place and then permanently attached to the core and other pieces.
It will sustain out of 80 floors, reaching a height of 420 meters. It will consist out of;
- 10 floors of luxurious villa style condos
- 35 floors of residential suites
- 15 floors of extravagant hotel
- 20 floors of retail/office
The only negative part of the tower, are the prices, they range from $3,7 million to $36 million. But I doubt, when you buy one, you’ll regret it! The tower will be finished by 2010. A year before the dynamic tower in moscow will be finished.

1st seed, and recent Roland Garros champion, Ana Ivanovic, was thrown out by Jie Zheng in 2 short sets, 6-1 6-4 in 1h10.
This loss was a logical ten-dense for Ana Ivanovic, by barely scrapping through in the previous round against Nathalie Dechy.
Whether it’s because the wind, low level, you were warned the previous match that you needed to work out harder for the next match, because the ball can’t always fall in your preference.
More details to follow later.
