Federer will lose his top spot

You can place it how you want it, but no matter what, Roger Federer a downfall. Rafael Nadal made him more edgy than ever, players are feeling it, exploiting his weakness, not being the best anymore.

All Rafa has to do is win the Cincinnati masters, even if he doesn’t, he’ll have 10 more tournaments to do it at, since Roger has a lot to defend at the US Open and Masters. Tournaments, where he has a big margin.

I’m not a hater, but I hated his domination, while other players were a lot better than him, and not being able to get the wins, they should have gotten.

So Rafael, break the chain, and get to the spot, you deserve to be at.

Maria Sharapova withdraws from the Olympic Games

Sad news, partially good news for the Williams fans, including me. Maria Sharapova has withdrawn from the olympics, caused by an injury. More details below;

World number three Maria Sharapova pulled out of the Beijing Olympics on Thursday after an MRI scan on her right shoulder revealed two small tears.

I’m currently packing up really quick to hop on the plane and head to New York for a second opinion but I wanted to let all of you know first that there’s no chance of me competing in Beijing” Sharapova said on her website.

The timing is so unfortunate and this makes me more sad than anything” she added on www.mariasharapova.com. The Olympic Games are scheduled for August 8-24.

After taking a few different exams and MRIs this morning, the doctors found two small tears in the tendons of my shoulder.

Maria Sharapova hopes to get healed by the Us Open, which debutes the 25th of August, however it’s still uncertain if she can get ready by then. She’ll be stopping by her physician, Dr David Alchek, whom will provide a second opinion, on how long she needs to take off.

More news, will be placed when released.
