WOW, this was an exciting match, I never thought Serena would lost that second set in the tiebreak, but she did, next on she won the second set with a lot of stamina and will and she cruised on, to win the third set in another tiebreaker. Serena is looking so fit, and great match you both put up !

Serena Williams, it took her blood, tears, splits and guts to push Venus Williams aside to win the US Open 2008 QF. The match didn’t start out well for Serena, by already falling behind and not being able to break Venus’s game. When she did, she went on to even it, but was again, trailing behind in the tie-breaker, which she eventually won.
Second set, same scenario, but Serena was able to defeat Venus in almost 3 hours. What a stunning match it was. Serena now has an easier draw to win her 3rd US Open title.
Next she’ll be playing Dinara Safina in the quarters and probably Jelena Jankovic in the finals.

Serena and Venus Williams started the match out fast, with powering from all sides of the court. They managed to win the first set with 1-break. In the second set, they both started out extremely aggressive with directly taking a 3-0 lead. They however, didn’t stop to bagel and take the second set by 60.

James Blake, the one, who I think is responsible for yesterdays-omen-day, causing a string of top seeds and favorites to fall out of the Tennis tournament, has lost today.
He was playing brilliant against another brilliant player, named, Fernando Gonzalez of Chile. The match was very close, with Fernando Gonzalez prevailing 11-9 in the last set.

Wow, This tournament is crap, obviously, no top seed is allowed to take gold. All favorites have fallen in the quarters. I don’t know how this match went on, but it’ll probably have been the aggressive Safina against the passive and defensive Jankovic.
So It’s obvious to say that;
Safina Dinara d. Jelena Jankovic 62 57 63 in 2h24. Stars are here.

Venus Williams also lost her singles QF at the Olympics Tennis Event. Li Na playing a brilliant match, and yes, also helped by the worst tennis-crowd in history, which clearly don’t have respect for any player, by cheering while the points are still being played.
However it wasn’t Na li’s fault, she was playing great, and so was Venus, although, she couldn’t keep up her high level for long, by mixing superb winners with stupid errors.

Today, Is clearly not my best day, and certainly not Serena’s. After starting very fierce and focused to obtain a 3-0 lead, Dementieva was able to get her first game, to come back to 3-1. But it didn’t help much, since serena took the first set 6-3 in 30 min.
The second set, Serena started a bit nervous, but held tough to earn a 4-2 lead. However, after that, she completely went out of control to lose the set with 4-6.
The 3rd set was one big mess, Serena Williams, the far superior player of the 2, wasn’t able to do anything right, to fall behind 5-0. She then regrouped to hold, and break back, saving a few matchpoints along the way. But in the end Double-Fault-Queen-Dementieva, was extremly lucky in the end to serve out the match.
Oh well, sometimes Dementieva needs to be lucky, but seriously, Serena Williams should have won it and sent her home with 2 sets, but no worries, she’ll crash out tomorrow, big time !
And also, Chinese lines men/women are extremely blind and shouldn’t be used in any tournament, because their eyes are too small, and they can’t see accurate at all! This was easy to be seen on the television, since many balls landed inches behind the baseline !!!!!!!!!

Roger Federer crashed out against James Blake in the QF of the Olympics Tennis Event. This shows and confirms that Roger Federer lost his groove, and will probably never play as good like the previous years.
It’s a shame, but I’m ready for the new king, Rafael Nadal.

After starting the match with a high tempo and directly breaking Alizé Cornet, she went into a games losing streak, she broke her racquet along the way, and was able to get back to 3-5, but eventually lost the set by 6-3.
In the next set Serena Williams started with a revenge of winners, and hardly losing any points on serve, she was able to serve out that set by 6-3. She only lost 2 points on her 1st serve, and hitted 3 aces.
The third set was a bit mixed, with Serena perfectly serving, but making a lot more errors on the return games. Alizé Cornet was getting frustrated and tired in the end, shouting a few ” merde “ swears right up in the air. Serena won the match when Alizé Cornet hitted a forehand long.

Next up, Serena Williams will face Elena Dementieva.
